Searching for the Sun

We normally see the shadow as an additional effect of the presence of an object. If we look at the shadow on its own, we wonder what object may have been its origin, whereas given the direct object, we try to interpret the newly-created form. We seldom look for the source of light that created the shadow. The Searching for the Sun series is an analysis of sunbeam angles and light sources outside the frames of existing photographic images.
