Tracking the sun / performance 18/07/2017
A four-hour performance whose duration corresponded to the passage of the Sun’s image across the frame of a large-format camera. During this time, the image was recorded on manually advanced fax paper placed inside the camera. By intervening in the camera’s mechanical operation, the conventional limits of the photographic frame were surpassed, resulting in a seventeen-metre-long drawing—a material record of the Sun’s trajectory.
